Scott Addison never set out to be a hero. All Scott wanted to was to blend in…to observed quietly from the shadows…to be one of the middle school crowd, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t escape his destiny and the voice of his recently deceased father reminding him, “No one should ever have to stand alone.” So, when he stumbled across three larger boys torturing a wiry little boy named Paul, Scott’s pet peeve of bullying and his overwhelming sense of justice thrust him into the heart of the conflict.
